The HI9829 is a waterproof portable logging multiparameter meter that monitors up to 14 different water quality parameters. The microprocessor based multi-sensor probe allows for the measurement of key parameters including pH, ORP, conductivity, dissolved oxygen, turbidity, ammonium, chloride, nitrate, and temperature. The probe transmits readings digitally with options to log data while disconnected from the meter. An optional GPS provides location tracking of measurements. The complete system is simple to setup and easy to use. The HI9829 is highly customizable and supplied with all necessary accessories, packaged in a durable carrying case.

    • Optional GPS provides location tracking of measurements.
    • Color coded, field replaceable sensors.
    • Great for environmental, field, and laboratory testing.

    Built-in GPS Receiver

    • 12 channel GPS receiver and antenna.
    • Tracks location using satellites to within 30 feet.
    • Latitude and longitude recorded with readings.
    • Location naming for GPS coordinates.
    • Distance from current location to the stored location.
    • Hi929829 multiparameter water quality meter software supplied integrates data collected with *Google™ maps.
    • Measurement readings including GPS coordinates, date and time, named locations and remarks sample number.

Two probes to choose from (Basic or Logging)

The HI7609829 (basic) and HI7629829 (logging) are multiparameter probes for use with the HI9829 portable meter. It is an option to choose which probe will be supplied with the HI9829. By default, the HI9829 and the corresponding probe will be supplied with a pH/ORP, conductivity and dissolved oxygen sensors. Either probe can be upgraded to measure turbidity with a turbidity/conductivity sensor.

    HI7609829 Basic Probe

    HI7629829 Autonomously Logging Probe

    • Digital probe that is less than 2 inches in diameter.
    • 3 color-coded sensor inputs.
    • IP68 rating for continuous immersion in water.
    • Multistrand –multiconductor cable rated for 150 lbs (intermittent use).
    • Available with 4, 10, or 20-meter cable.
    • Weighted shield protects all sensors.
      • Same as basic probe but with logging capability.
      • Logs data independent of HI9829 meter.
      • Operates on 4 “AA” batteries for up to 70 days*.
      • Stores up to 140,000 single parameter readings or 35,000 for all parameters.
      • Logs data from 1 second to 3 hours.
      • Choose to be supplied with EC or EC/Turbidity sensor.
      • Supplied with USB cable for direct connection to Window’s compatible PC.

*All channels logging at 10-minute intervals with no averaging.

The HI7609829  (logging) is a multiparameter pH/ISE/EC/DO/Turbidity/Temperature probe for use with the HI9829 portable meter. Sensors are automatically recognized by the probe and meter when connected. Sensor replacement is quick and easy with field replaceable, screw type connectors that are color-coded for easy sensor identification. The probe features a multistrand-multiconductor shielded cable with 4m, 10m, and 20m lengths available. It’s rugged, waterproof design makes it ideal for field use. The probe is suitable for installation in confined locations such as air vaults, river intakes, vertical wells, tanks, etc.. The streamline diameter of the probe permits insertion into 2" pipelines. Unlike probes that require a cable support for active deployment, this probe can be manually lowered and raised by the cable due to its superior strength rating. It is suitable for installation in open moving waters; rivers, streams, ditches (farmland drainage), conveyance canals, and more. In these cases protecting the probe from debris is important. The HI7609829 may be deployed in open waters; monitoring lakes, ponds, wetland basin, infiltration basins, and bays and is suitable for measurements in a flow cell.
