Build a custom system with the sensors you need where you need them.
Can support up to one each of five sensors: anemometer, rain collector, temperature probe or temperature/humidity, UV and solar radiation sensors.
With an anemometer installed, you can replace your Vantage Pro2 or Vantage Vue anemometer with a remote wind station.
Industry-leading transmission range of 1,000’/300 m from the transmitter to a Vantage Connect, WeatherLink Live, or console.
Combine with WeatherLink Live to take full advantage of the Sensor Transmitter’s capabilities.
Mount inside or outside.
Weather resistant shelter protects electronics when mounted outside.
Available with AC (6331) or Solar (6332) power supply with capacitor and lithium battery backup. The battery easily lasts eight months without sunlight; more than two years depending on sun load
Easy installation with included mounting hardware, One-year manufacturer’s warranty.
Sensors: Anemometer (6410), rain collector (7852), temperature probe or temperature / humidity sensors (6475, 6477), UV (6490) and solar radiation (6450).
Console, Weatherlink Live or Enviromonitor + Sensorlink
The SkyScan P5-3 lightning detector is the newest state-of-the-art weather monitoring equipment available anywhere in the world. It is a portable instrument with an electronic system to detect the presence of lightning/thunderstorm activity occurring within 40 miles of your location. The digital microprocessor ensures accuracy and reliability. It uses patented technology (fully digital microprocessor that ensures accuracy and reliability) to determine the distance to the detected path. Distances are displayed in four ranges:
0-3 miles (0-5 km)
3-8 miles (5-13 km)
8-20 miles (13-32 km)
20-40 miles (32-64 km) ).
It lets you know the level of storm activity, determines whether it is approaching, moving away from or paralleling your position. Each time the SkyScan P5-3 portable lightning detector detects lightning, it emits an audible warning tone (if the user has enabled this feature) and lights the Range Indicator column. The entire column remains lit for approximately 3 seconds. This feature allows you to see the distance to the last detected closest stroke without waiting for the SkyScan detector to detect a new stroke. The unit will automatically shut down after 5 hours of continuous operation to prevent battery life loss.
